The 16th China International Building Decoration & Building Materials Exposition

The 16th China International Building Decoration & Building Materials Exposition sponsored by China National Interior Decoration Association and Dalian government, organized by the Dalian Northern International Exhibition Company concluded successfully at the Dalian Xinghai Exhibitions Center. There were more than 500 companies attending the Exposition, the exposition area was nearly 20,000 square meters, and the exposition covered about forty kinds of the building and decoration materials. There were many industry lead enterprises, and the exposition was an exchange platform for them. Many new products and new technologies appeared on the exposition.

The introduction of the new fire proof and heat insulation board made of the volcanic rock from Skytop was a focus on the exposition. In the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the strategies of environment-friendly development will be an important strategic of the sustainable development.

According to statistics, the area in the fire of the Chinese state broadcaster's landmark headquarters complex in Beijing on Feb 2009 was 8,490 square meters, and the economic loss of that was 1.6 billion RMB. The fire of the teachers’ building of Shanghai Jing’an district on November last year was caused by the reconstruction. The fire of tallest building of Shenyang, the Royalty Wanxin International Building was caused by the fireworks. The three accidents relate to the insulation materials of the external walls, so the new fire proof and heat insulation board will play an important role in the building materials industry.
